OTHM (The Organisation for Tourism and Hospitality Management)Higher Diploma

The OTHM Higher Diploma is suitable for people who work in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry and who have already gained an OTHM Diploma, or other qualifications at a suitable level.

On completion of the OTHM Higher Diploma, you can also be put forward for election as a Full Member of OTHM.

Modules

Part 1

Marketing Communications for Tourism and Hospitality
International Tourism and Hospitality Business Environment
Corporate Business Strategy and Finance

Part II

Management Information Systems
Strategic Human Resource Management
Project: Operations Management in the Business Environment

Each module requires 45 hours of classroom teaching.

Assessment

Each module 1 to 5 is assessed by a three hour written examination.

Module 6 is assessed by a project.

Progression

On passing the OTHM Higher Diploma Members will be eligible to be considered for various courses in recognised colleges and universities in the UK and around the world.
