Who the Course is For:
The B.Eng (Hons) is designed to take HND and Foundation Degree qualified Engineers further into Higher Education and obtain a full Batchelors Degree with Honours.
Assessment:
Tutor marked assignments, phase tests and end of module exams.
Course Leads To:
Entry to a Master Degree qualification.

A HND or a Foundation Degree in Engineering with appropriate units and 240 CAT points.
Content:
There are three pathways available for specialist in the following subject areas: Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.
The course is a modular based programme covering a range of subjects including: Quality Techniques, Engineering applications of Mathematical Modelling, Business and Environmental Challenges, Innovation and Design for Sustainability, Advanced Fluid Mechanics, Digital Communications Networks, Electrical Power Transmission Systems, Advanced Thermodynamics, Advanced Manufacturing Techniques. The second year of the programme also requires students to complete a substantial team project.
Students will complete 6 of the modules listed abaove (according to option restrictions associated with each pathway) plus the Team Projetc for a total of 120 CATS at level 6.
