Using an Overlocker - Basics
So many people have told me they don't get their overlockers out of the box because they are too afraid to use them. Now is the time to get rid of your gremlins and start using your overlocker. An overlocker is an invaluable machine and once you get used to one you wont want to do without one. The workshop is designed to give you confidence to use your overlocker.

During this workshop you will learn:

• how to thread the overlocker
• use the overlocker with 3 and 4 threads
• how to adjust the tensions for perfect stitching
• how to stitch seams
• neatening seams
• how to stitch corners
• how to stitch curved edges
• how to sew a rolled hem and its uses
• how to sew a lettuce leaf hems and its uses
• differential feed
• gathering
• lace edging

If you would like to learn on your own overlocker you can bring it to the workshop. If you do not have an overlocker this is the ideal workshop to come to and try one out before you consider buying one. Please state if you have you own, or if you want to use one of ours when booking.
