About this course

PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent. We strongly recommend that you have most of your own equipment by this level as you will need to be familiar with it's operation to be successful on the course.
You must have a current first aid qualification and we highly recommend PADI’s EFR course.

Course programme

This is one of the most demanding but rewarding and fun courses. You will learn all the skills necessary to rescue divers, how to be a rescue manager and practice these skills in realistic scenarios. You will also be qualified as a PADI Oxygen specialist.

Course content:

Self-study from the course manual covers Self-Rescue, Stress, Diving First Aid, Rescuer readiness, Managing an Emergency & Equipment Problems.

In water skills training includes rescuing responsive divers at the surface and underwater, missing diver procedures, rescuing the unresponsive diver at the surface and underwater and Rescue Management.
