Paediatric 1st Aid

A 12-Hour Paediatric First Aid Course which has been approved to be part of the framework of the Children’s Care, Learning and Development Modern Apprenticeship / NVQ.

This course is suitable for everyone who has the responsibility of looking after children: nursery staff, Au pairs, teachers, child minders and parents.

Topics covered within the course include: assessing casualties, burns and scalds, control of bleeding, resuscitation of babies and infants, Meningitis, bites and more.

On completion of the course each candidate will receive a Certificate in Paediatric First Aid that is valid for three years.
