After this course the student will have a greater understanding of the possible injuries and illnesses that could affect and infants and children. Also to know that gaining immediate professional care is vital to ensure that pain and suffering is reduced as much as possible. It is aimed at carers working without the parents being present. Students gain a full understading of the types of injuries and illnesses that they may encounter from involment with children and how to deal with them. Suitable for: 12 hour Paediatric First Aid course is suitable for childminders and childcare workers and meets the requirements outlined by OFSTED Practice Guidance and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
