About this course
You will need either the Diploma in Painting and Decorating Level 2 or relevant experience and employment in the industry.

What will you be learning?
Gain craft-qualified status and an internationally recognised qualification. You will learn to prepare a work area and surfaces, apply paint materials by brush or roller, wallpaper plus other options that may include: Decorative surface finishes; decorative spraying; coving; texturing and centre pieces. Assessment is carried out both on and off-site; evidence from site is collected and signed off by the work-based recorder and assessor. You must also pass practical tests and an examination.
What happens when you have finished?
After you have successfully completed this course you can progress onto the Painting and Decorating NVQ 3 or an Advanced Apprenticeship.
