You will attend College one day per week, plus in some cases occasional periods of block release. Periodically an assessor will visit you in the workplace to carry out on-site assessments. You will prepare work based evidence and be assessed across a range of activities to demonstrate the development of your skills and knowledge.

What stands out about this course?

You will prepare surfaces, match colours, apply coatings, hang patterned wallpaper and work with a variety of materials from gloss paint to Artex. Working in both domestic and commercial environments, you could be updating a tired colour scheme in someone’s home, realising an interior designer’s vision for a grand hotel or skilfully restoring original features in a listed building.
