This course is aimed at students who are employed as a Painter & Decorator on an apprenticeship. This course also covers all aspects of the trade from health and safety to applying wallpapers

* VR02 Efficient work practices
* VR03 Move and handle resources
* VR250 Working platforms
* VR332 - Prepare surfaces
* VR333 - Apply paint by brush and roller options
* VR336 Wallpapering
* VR337 Wide width vinyls
* VR338 Coving
* VR341 - Stencilling
* VR342 ADV stencils

Vocational Relevance:
Applicants must be employed in the industry

Entry Requirements:
Applicants will need to be employed in a relevant sector, either in a paid or voluntary capacity.

Entry Process:
There is no formal interview required.

Observations Portfolio building Written On-line

Progression Routes:
Students may wish to progress onto an NVQ Level 3 (this course is not offered by West Kent College).
