About this course
No qualifications are required for Level 1. However, Level 2 and 3 courses require previous qualifications.

Who is the course for?
The course is for people with an interest in learning how to use watercolours. It is suitable for both beginners and experienced painters.
What is the course about?
This qualification enables you to develop techniques and extend a range of skills in the art of watercolour painting. You will learn how to blend, mix and apply the paints to create numerous paintings and gain a good understanding of the creative process.
Will I need anything else?
You will need to purchase a range of Watercolour equipment including paints, brushes and watercolour paper however you tutor will advise you in more detail when you enrol.
How long & often do I attend?
The course is 2 hours per week for 30 weeks to gain a full NCFE Certificate in Creative Crafts.
How will I be assessed?
You will need to produce a portfolio of your work. Your tutor will advise and guide you in doing this.
What opportunities will this lead to?
On completion of this course you may wish to study alternative programmes within the Creative Arts area at Level 2 or above.
