Course Information:

Average time: 12 hours learning time to complete, spread over a period of 1 month.

Overview:

This course provides candidates with information about palliative care. The course explains how to communicate with people who are facing death or bereavement, religious, spiritual and cultural needs and wishes of the dying, physical and psychological needs of the service user and responsibilities following the death of a service user. The course also aims to help candidates develop an understanding of specific care that may also be given.
