About the course The role of a paramedic is vital, rewarding, and expanding – with increasing emphasis on clinical decision-making skills – offering you an ideal career if you thrive under pressure and want a varied role in medical care. This innovative course, developed in partnership with the East of England Ambulance Service, will develop your clinical knowledge and confidence in simulated situations. Spend around % of your time in supervised, supported practice, enabling you to experience the full -hour working pattern. Your final year research project will enable you to progress to employment as a professional paramedic with a strong research base and potential for professional development. The course is recognised by the Health and Care Professions Council and leads to eligibility to register, on completion, as a registered paramedic. .

About this course
/ entry Five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English language or literature and mathematics and a science subject, plus one of the following: points with at least points from 2 A Level or BTEC level 3 qualifications and other qualifications in the UCAS tariff. AS levels and General Studies A Level do not count towards this score. Access to HE Diploma for a QAA recognised Access to HE course in health studies, health science, nursing or another science- based course. Normally we require credits at Level 2 and at level 3 of which at least credits should .
