This course is for you if:
This Course is for practising electricians with relevant experience and is intended to ensure that they comply with the format, content and applications of the requirements for Electrical Installations (BS 7671: June 2008).
The IEE Wiring Regulations are the definitive standards for the electrical industry in respect of safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems and are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS7671). They set requirements and operating criteria for the UK and correspond to EC standards.

This qualification is primarily aimed at practising electricians with relevant experience and other allied professionals eg surveyors, consultants and other trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations.
It is also suitable for anyone wishing to demonstrate an understanding of the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
It is intended to ensure that individuals are conversant with the format, content and the application of the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: 2008 (17th edition).

Fee Information: The College charges a range of fees, primarily Home and Overseas. Under 19s assessed as Home, do not pay the course fees, we only charge a 20 enrolment fee which is refunded if you complete the course. Home students over 19 undertaking their First Full Level 2 (equivalent to 5 GCSE A-C) or their First Full Level 3 (equivalent to BTEC National or 2 ALevels) will be charged 20 enrolment fee plus any examination fees. For Home students over 19 receiving certain state benefits, the 20 enrolment is charged and not refundable. In all other instances, you will be charged the Home-EU or Overseas Fee.

Entry Requirements

Before you can enrol onto this course you will need to provide a copy of the following certificate(s):
-City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: June 2001 (2381),
or City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Installation (Building and Structures) (2330-07),
or City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Electrical Maintenance (2330-08),
or City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation Part Two (2360) (from January 1st 2004 onwards only)
