AAT Foundation Level 2 NVQ
This is an ideal course for those who are beginning work in an accounting environment or for those who have been working with accounts for some time and wish to gain a formal qualification. The Foundation NVQ Level II represents the first stage of the internationally recognised Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Accounting Qualification. The AAT is the worlds leading professional membership body for accounting technicians, and the UKs largest awarding body of skills-based qualifications in accounting. The AAT Accounting Qualification is based on the practical skills and knowledge you need to fulfil an accounting technician role. The syllabus is regularly reviewed to ensure that it is up-to-date with current work practice and that you gain the necessary experience that any prospective employer would expect. Students learn by performing practical work-related tasks rather than just sitting exams. You will also develop work-related skills in other areas, including IT, communication and health and safety all skills that are valued by employers. This course is also available as an Apprenticeship in Accounting NVQ Level 2. and an Advanced Apprenticeship in Accounting NVQ Level 3. Applicants are required to be in employment to study the Apprenticeship. Please contact the Apprenticeship Team for further details. If you possess relevant experience or qualifications and are unsure which level of the AAT Accounting Qualification is the most suitable place to begin we recommend that you complete the AAT Skillcheck.
