Part-time AAT Intermediate

AAT IntermediateCourse Outline
This is the second level of a three stage qualification. This level introduces more complicated accounting tasks, including the preparation of final accounts for sole traders and partnerships. You will also learn how to maintain cost accounting records and how to prepare reports and returns.

Entry requirements
You will need to have successfully completed the AAT Foundation course or have an equivalent qualification.

What will I study?
You will study: Maintaining Financial Records & Preparing Accounts; Recording & Evaluating Costs & Revenues; Preparing Reports & Returns; Working with Computers and Contribute to the Maintenance of a Healthy, Safe & Productive Working Environment.

How will I be assessed?
There are two types of assessments Examinations - There are two examinations set and marked by the AAT. Skills tests - These are course assessments which can include evidence from your workplace, voluntary activities you are involved in or simulations based on real work activities.

Career Opportunities & Progression
After successful completion of this courses you can progress onto the Technician level. The completion of this level is recognised by employers.
