Course Content

Access courses are aimed at mature students wishing to prepare for higher education. They offer a second chance to students without formal qualifications or to students wishing to change career direction. In this course a range of art disciplines from drawing and painting to 3D design are encouraged and developed.

ersonal tutorials to encourage and motivate students who may initially lack confidence in the classroom

Students study key skills in communication and IT as well as units in their chosen area of specialisation.
Career Prospects and Progression

Students who successfully complete the course would be eligible to apply for HND or Degree courses in a related subject area.

Method of Assessment

Each module will be assessed through a combination of assignments, seminars, presentations, formal essay work and group discussion. Students may be assessed, and write their assignments in Welsh.
