Course Description: This course provides a basic knowledge of financial and cost accounting and is designed to enable students to achieve competence at Level 3 in Accounting and to proceed to Level 4.

Students will be required to purchase AAT textbooks.

Entry Requirements:
  • AAT Foundation Stage (NVQ Level 2) or suitable alternative qualification, or demonstrate a good working knowledge of manual double entry book keeping
  • Students without AAT Foundation Stage (NVQ Level 2) may be accepted with relevant work experience
  • Any applicant who has not completed the AAT Foundation Stage will need to complete a skills check questionnaire and undertake an entrance test in double entry book keeping up to Trial Balance.
