The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is one of the major accountancy bodies in the UK with members in 170 countries throughout the world. The part-time course of study with the West Wales Business School, a partnership between Coleg Sir Gar and Pembrokeshire College and the University of Glamorgan aims to provide the knowledge, understanding and techniques to enable students to pass the examinations of this highly regarded professional accountancy body. Membership of ACCA is gained by the successful completion of the examinations and satisfaction of the relevant practical experience requirement and completion of a professional ethics module.
Course Features
Tuition by qualified members of major accountancy bodies and other specialists with extensive experience of teaching and the workplace
1.5 to 2 hour classes for each module throughout the year

The full ACCA qualification requires study over 4 years; however available exemptions may reduce this timescale. Classes are normally held on a Wednesday between 9.15am - 6.00pm, subject to numbers.
