Course Description
This award is a Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ) in CAD. It has been designed by City and Guilds to meet our customers' needs for more modern, up to date and flexible qualifications.

This course will enable you to be able to:

a. Use appropriate commands to set up 3D environments
b. Create and use working planes for 3D
c. Define and use co-ordinate points within a 3D environment
d. Produce shapes using surface and solid modelling
e. Uses commands to modify 3D objects
f. View 3D opjects in a variety of display formats
g. Produce hard copies of drawings
h. Other associated skills

Assessment is via 2 assignments and a computer based multi-choice exam
