Part-Time B+E TRALIER TRAINING

This course will provide trailer handling/towing tuition in preparation for an additional DS test to allow you to legally tow trailers on the public highway. Anyone who took their driving text after 1st January 1997 (or has lost their licence and had to retake the test since) mat have to take an additional test (licence categotry B+E) to tow a trailer or caravan if it weighs over 750kg MAM (Maximum Authorised Mass). There are a small number of confusing exceptions, but if you intend to tow, it is generally recommended that you take the test so as to avoid any misinterpretation by yourself, the police or your insurers.
