This is a full time course which covers the use of plastering tools as well as the mixing and applying of plastering materials. It also covers basic health and safety.

Career Prospects and Progression

The qualification will enhance your career prospects to gain employment and progress to the Intermediate Construction Award, NVQ Level 2 or a Foundation Modern Apprenticeship.

- Selection of Basic Plastering Material - Mixing Materials - Internal Plastering - Plain External Finish - Cutting Plasterboard - Running a Panel Mould - Casting Moulds

Method of Assessment

10 practical set tasks ongoing throughout the course of study.
