Is this course right for me?

Designed to give beginners a practical instruction on Health and Safety, processes and equipment, Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA) & Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG). The aim of this course is to help you obtain a basic level of competence.

What will I be learning?

This 10 week course is practically based and covers the following;
*Health & Safety when welding
*Welding processes and materials
*Setting of equipment and preparing to weld
*Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA)
*Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG)

How will I learn?

Through practical based activities and tasks which are delivered by qualified trainers in a specialist environment.

What else might I want to know?

You will need to provide safety foot wear and protective clothing. Specialist welding protective equipment will be provided.

What can I do afterwards?

Progression on to a more advanced or specialist welding course.
