Course Details

The course aims to equip students with the language they will need in a variety of situations as visitors to France. Topics studied in Term 1 are Personal Identity, Shopping for Food, Food and Drink and Christmas food and customsTerm 2 topics include Directions and Asking the Way, Travel and Accommodation, Shopping for Clothes and Presents Term 3 topics include Leisure and Pleasure, Holidays and Health and Emergencies.

Qualifications required:
No formal qualifications are required

Course length:
14 weeks in autumn term, 11 weeks in spring term, 10 weeks in summer term.

Venue:
The College's Queen's Gardens Centre

Autumn Term - 10th September 2009, Spring Term - 4th January 2010, Summer Term - 12 April 2010
