Who is this course for?

All vocational and visual study areas use the design process as a basis for developing work. Although this course encourages creativity, it also aims to nurture an understanding of the practical realities of professional design practice.

The course also provides you with the opportunity to carry out 'live work' for private and public sector clients.

You will be assessed on a regular basis throughout the programme using a range of appropriate assessment methods such as written and practical assignments, projects, case studies, presentations and live briefs.

What can I do after the course?

You can progress directly into employment in the design industry where career opportunities exist in many areas of Graphic Design e.g. design studios, print houses, television, advertising agencies, education, national and local newspapers or can progress to the BA (Hons) Degree in Creative Imaging at Lurgan Campus.

Alternatively, students may progress to other institutions of higher education.
