· Course Overview: · The BTEC National Award in Construction is a mixture of lecture-based theory-related to a variety of topics including construction technology and design, sustainable development and health and safety as well as practical based surveying, CAD and materials science to develop a deeper understanding of a range of construction processes. This course is a suitable bridging course for those working in the construction trade either office based or in a trade. This course provides a route into Construction Management at HNC and Degree level.

Entry Requirements: · NVQ2 or Intermediate Craft Award in an appropriate discipline. Learners will be required to have a minimum of two years experience of work in construction. Applicants with no formal qualifications will be considered following a guidance interview.
