WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE COURSE?
You should be employed in an office environment or have a voluntary placement in an office environment.

COURSE STRUCTURE AND CONTENT
You will gather evidence from the workplace in order to prove competence.
All units are internally assessed. NVQ's are designed in units which can be accumulated over the 30 weeks.

To achieve the full certificate in Business and Administration you must complete 5 units, which includes 2 mandatory core units and 3 optional from a group of 35.

Mandatory Core Units

• Carry out your responsibilities at work
• Work within your business environment
• Optional units are discussed at interview

ASSESSMENT
You will be required to demonstrate competence to the assessor, both in the classroom and in the workplace.

WHERE COULD THE COURSE LEAD?
On completion of NVQ Level 2 and having relevant work responsibilities, you may progress to NVQ Level 3 Business and Administration or you could extend your skills by taking a qualification in IT or Accounts.
