Course Content:
This course is for practising electricians who possess a good basic knowledge, understanding and experience of the inspection, testing and certification process and who now wish to formalise this by obtaining this industry recognised qualification certificate. The course consists of 4.5 days training plus 3-hours practical assessment. This qualification was developed in association with NICEIC and will satisfy their requirements for Proposed Qualifying Supervisor (PQS) status.

How will I be Assessed? :
Learners will be required to successfully complete both of the following assessments which are individually assessed and designated as pass or fail: Component 101 consists of a 2.5 hour "closed book" exam that consists of two sections, Section A has 20 short answer questions and Section B has 6 structured questions 3 hour centre assessed practical application activities, which cover the requirements of the 2391-102 component for Safe Isolation, Inspection, Testing and Certification of an Electrical Installation.

Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements. However learners will be assessed/interviewed to verify that they have sufficient basic knowledge and experience to attempt this qualification.
