These courses are designed for those wishing to learn more about icing cakes with various types of piping and patterns and making fondant and pastillage flowers as decorations.The course is aimed at fancy work for cake decorating for wedding cakes.

Course Content:

Cake Decorating (5 weeks):
Create a stunning cake, learn how to Sugarpaste Cake and Board with Inlay and Crimping. Piping techniques will include: Shell Border, Lines, Trellis, Lace Work, Filigree, Lettering and a decorative cake top plaque.

Cake Decorating and Sugar Flowers (10 weeks):
Create a stunning cake, learn how to Sugarpaste Cake and Board with Inlay and Crimping. Piping techniques will include: Shell Border, Lines, Trellis, Lace Work, Filigree, Lettering and a decorative cake top plaque. Make a spray of wired Sugar Flowers using various methods, these are to include Stargazer Lily, Stephanotis, Ivy Eucalyptus and Caladium leaves.
