CandG Computerised Accounts - Stage 1

Course Details

The course covers all basic aspects of computerised accounts using Sage Line 50 software. Bank and VAT reconciliation are also covered. The Pitmans Stage I examination at the end of the course tests the candidates ability to carry out routine computerised accountancy tasks. Areas covered include: Adding new accounts to the purchase/sales ledger. Creating accounts in the nominal ledger. Processing information in respect of the sales ledger. i.e. invoices, credit notes and payments. Calculating and reconciling all batch totals. Printing out copies, balances and accounts as requested.

Qualifications required:
Potential candidates would benefit from an understanding of the terms used in basic book keeping, although this is not essential.
