Course aims:
The aim of this course is to develop your skills, underpinning knowledge and a broad understanding of the Construction industry.
The course is designed to develop your practical skills, knowledge and understanding of Site Carpentry and Joinery and the Construction industry in general.

Course content:
On this course you will learn about:

• Carrying out safe working practices
• Information and quantities
• Communicating with others
• Building methods and construction technology
• Woodworking joints
• Maintaining and using hand tools
• Preparing and using portable power tools

Entry Requirements:
You will normally need to have a minimum of two GCSE's at grade E or equivalent. This includes a full Entry Level qualification including a relevant Entry Level 3 Literature and Numeracy qualification.
