Introduction
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Part 2 is the second part of a Level 2 course. It is designed to provide you with the knowledge, understanding, and skills needed to configure a LAN/WAN using Cisco equipment. It should be considered as preparation for taking the CCNA examination. Further study and practical experience will be necessary if you wish to gain the industry standard CCNA certification

Student will study switching basics and intermediate routing, including advanced IP addressing techniques (variable length subnet masking - VLSM), intermediate routing protocols (RIP v2, single-area OSPF, EIGRP), command-line interface configuration of switches, Ethernet switching, virtual LANs (VLANs), spanning tree protocol (STP), and VLAN trunking protocol (VTP). You will also study wide area networking technologies, including advanced IP addressing techniques (network address translation - NAT, port address translation - PAT, and DHCP), WAN technology and terminology, PPP, ISDN, DDR, frame relay, network management and introduction to optical networking.
