Is the course for me?
To give practising and potential first line managers the foundation for their formal development in this role. The qualification does this by developing basic management skills and assisting participants in gaining basic knowledge required by a manager. You will be expected as part of the course to attend an extended learning experience which takes place in an outdoor education centre in Barmouth at the end of January. The cost of the course is £495 plus £170 residential fee. The course will be held either in an afternnon or an evening one day per week for 34 weeks
What will I learn?
The course covers the main issues in the role of supervisors, eg the management of resources, activities, people and information.
How will I be assessed?
A workbased assignment plus change management report and optional workbased assignments.
What can I do after the course?
Progression on to ILM - Diploma in Management Level 3 or Award in Management Level 4
