Is this course for you
The course runs over one year, two evenings a week and is for people wishing to study a more advanced qualification in Heating & Ventilating. It extends the themes of the Level 2 and provides the necessary introduction to gas and oil systems. It also includes water regulations, unvented hot water, new technologies and complex hot & cold water systems.

How will you be assessed
The assessment of practical skills will be continuous throughout the programme and your knowledge and understanding will be assessed through assignments and an external examination set by City and Guilds. You will be expected to build a portfolio of evidence of your plumbing work and you will need to show good compliance to health and safety practices throughout the course.

Additional information
There is a £25 fee for materials. You will need to equip yourself with protective footwear and overalls before you start the course.
