Part-Time Certificate In Land-Based Studies (Floristry) (Level 1)

Giving you an insight into the skills you need for a successful floristry career, this practically based course is an ideal starting point for those students who have little or no formal qualifications. You will learn how to produce designs for gifts, weddings and funerals. As part of the course you will be required to work in a floristry shop.

Entry Requirements

Students should be at Entry Level 3 or working towards Level 1.

Life experience will be taken into account when considering applications.

Assessment Method
Short multiple-choice examinations, plus a portfolio of evidence will be marked by an external examiner.

Progression Routes
Successful students can further enhance their skills by enrolling onto the NPTC National Certificate in Floristry or, should they wish to, straight into the floristry industry.
