Childrens Care, Learning & Dev. Level 4 NVQ
The Level 4 Childrens Care Learning and Development (CCLD) course is an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) for professionals working in childcare. This course includes four mandatory units which will cover:

Students will then be able to choose five optional units which best suit their job role to achieve their full qualification.

Course Content:
Candidates will be allocated an approved assessor who will visit the workplace to assess the work provided and to support you in achieving the qualification

Awarding body:
Council for Awards in Childrens Care and Education (CACHE).

Work Experience / Practical Experience:
Candidates will need to be working in a face-to-face role with children or young people (0-16 years)and families, at a senior /management level.

Entry Requirements:
Applicants must have completed a Level 3 qualification in Working with Children. Acceptance onto the course is subject to a successful interview with the course tutor.

Entry Process:
Applicants will be invited to attend an interview with the course tutor.

Assessment:
Candidates willl be assessed in the workplace.

Progression Routes:
Students may seek exemption from 1st year Foundation Degree on successful completion of NVQ Level 4 CCLD course, if appropriate units have been studied.
