Additional Info:
The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply is the professional body representing those engaged in the purchasing and supply function in industry and the public sector. The first step towards achieving a professional qualification and membership of the Institute is to complete the Foundation Diploma examinations. You may decide that you wish to undertake the full qualification in one year by attending two evenings per week. Alternatively, you may wish to spread your study over a longer period by taking individual modules. Acceptance onto this course is by interview and assessment. A particular feature of this course is that students take the CIPS examination at the end of each module, normally the following week rather than the central CIPS examinations, which take place in November and May. Examination costs are included in the course fees. Other costs payable by all students during the course will be approximately £85.00 for CIPS membership and £40.00 per module for books. When you have completed this course, you may wish to progress to the Advanced Diploma in Purchasing and Supply.
