City and Guilds Award/Certificate in Creative
Techniques in Floral Design- (Level 2) WBL

This is a suite of qualifications that can be completed as individual units to obtain an Award or you can group together to obtain a Certificate.

To achieve the Award learners must complete one unit at any level from either the mandatory or optional craft list.

To achieve the Certificate learners must complete four units - two mandatory design units and two units from the optional craft list.

In all units you will learn about the contextual influences relating to floral items, use the principles of colour, line, texture, shape and form to inform the design of the floral
items. You will learn how to plan and manage the making of the floral items to the working design, and how to work safely and effectively.

These courses provide progression to both full and part-time vocational Floristry programmes.
