Course Description: This course is aimed at students who have already obtained the Level 2 award or mature students with prior learning obtained in industry. Students will cover the following units: Work Effectively and Safely in an Engineering Environment; Engineering Principles and Practice; Principles of Materials Forming; Principles of Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering; CNC Machining and Computer Aided Design 2D & 3D.

Entry Requirements: The student will already be employed in Mechanical Engineering or be undertaking a craft training programme. Candidates are expected to hold a Level 2 award.
