What will I study?
There are 4 units to complete: Unit 1: Developing yourself and working with others on engineering activities Unit 2: Selecting materials, moving loads and applying quality control procedures Unit 3: Fitting using hand skills Unit 4: Machining
How will I be assessed?
Units 1& 2 are assessed by City & Guilds by online tests and practical assignments Units 3 & 4 are assessed by practical assignment work
Career Opportunities & Progression
Due to the nature of the vocational award (P.E.O. Level 2) this is ideal qualification as the route into a modern apprenticeship . For those who are employed this is your first year of your academic training.
