Course Content: This course is the prerequisite course for those wishing to obtain an NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing. It contains practical installation skills and underpinning knowledge required for the new plumbing qualifications. Modules include:

• Systems Planning
• Complex Cold & Hot Water Systems
• Complex Sanitation & Heating Systems
• Gas Installation and Maintenance
• Improvement of Business Products and Services

Entry Requirements: City & Guilds Basic Certificate in Plumbing Studies Level 2 or NVQ Level 2 Plumbing.

Progression/Career Opportunities: On successful completion of this qualification, students can progress to achieve the NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, which is recognised as supervisory.
