Is it right for me?

What qualifications will I need?
Students must be aged 16 or over on 1st September of the year in which the course starts. Tetanus protection is recommended.
What will I be learning about?
- Health and safety
- Identification of climbing equipment
- Tree climbing techniques
- Types of access into the tree
- Use of climbing irons
- Aerial rescue
What materials are required?
Writing materials. Steel toe'capped boots.
PLEASE NOTE: All students must bring a passport size photograph and their national insurance number on the first day of their course.
What is next?
Unit 39 ' Operate a chainsaw from a rope and harness
How will I be assessed?
By an external assessor on the final day of the course.
