Covers the basic skills to create simple, well made craft items
The opportunity to progress to higher levels or take further units at the same level
Career Prospects and Progression
Local employment includes florists, garden centres and supermarkets and self-employment. Students may progress to Level 2 and 3 daytime courses in flower arranging or floristry.

One of the following units: Boutonnieres and corsages Traditional floral arrangements Small hand tied items Small tributes Wedding items Hung items and garlands Contemporary floral designs; colour, line and texture
Method of Assessment
Tutor assessment of floral designs plus a folder of work.
