Community Engagement Courses

Course Details

Community Education offers a range of friendly and informal learning opportunities in venues across Hull and Goole. The short courses are open to all adults aged 19 and over, from complete beginners to people wishing to extend their skills. Community Education has helped many people experience a positive, relaxed and supportive return to learning. All our current courses are listed on the previous page, to join these courses simply telephone the venue listed as host to book your place. Class sizes are small, but we need a minimum number of nine to run a course. We can support you if you have any additional needs and can provide a support worker if required, although advanced notification is essential. Our courses are of a minimum of two hours duration for six or twelve weeks and take place in local venues such as primary schools, libraries, children centres and community centres across Hull and East Yorkshire. Course fees are from as little as 2.50 per week for a 12 week course; fee concessions are also available, all courses are accredited by the NOCN (National Open College Network).
