Course content:
Level 1 is aimed at students seeking a first qualification in the practical use of computerised accounts and who may be progressing from Book-keeping and Accounts Level 1.
Provides an introduction to the use of standard accounting software, creating new accounts in the nominal ledger, processing invoices, credit notes, receipts and payments, calculating and reconciling Batch Totals

Course Structure:
The course consists of a mixture of lectures, practical and individual work, You will study for 3 hours a week for 10 weeks.

Course resources:
All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.

Assessment:
Continuous assessment by tutor. End of course external examination.

Fees Info
The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UK/EU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of £30 (or £20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs:
Students should provide folders and paper for coursework.
