These are usually one day short courses for qualified counsellors and psychotherapists to update their skills and knowledge. The course is also relevant for current counselling course trainees who want to gain some extra knowledge and skills in addition to their current training. Others who work in the general area of social care can also access some of the courses which may be relevant to them. There are also 9 day post qualifying certificates in Working with Young People and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
