Course Content

This part time evening course provides practical and theoretical training up to industry approved standards. You will study the application of make-up, lash and brow treatments and manicure as well as Health + Safety and Employment Standards related to the beauty therapy industry. A Beauty therapy kit and uniform has to be purchased.

- Apply and instruct on make-up - Shaping eyebrows and tinting eyelashes and eyebrows - Implement good working relationships with colleagues and clients - Health, safety and security - Employment standards

Method of Assessment

Your practical skills are assessed in college. A portfolio of evidence has to be produced for each module studied. The Health + Safety and Employment Standards, make-up, and eye treatements are also assessed with a multiple choice question paper.
