Health, safety and welfare in construction and associated industries
Analysing technical information, quantities and communication with others
Analysing the construction industry and built environment
Carry out first fixing operations
Carry out second fixing operations
CC40 Set up and operate cutting and shaping machinery
CC117 Erect complex structural car casing components
CC118 Install and maintain non-structural and structural components
Each theory unit has its own multiple choice test and practical assessments are set by the awarding body.
We will look to offer work experience wherever possible. In the past level 3 students have created and reconfigured areas of the College. Work experience trials with employers are sought when any potential apprenticeship opportunities arise.
On completion students can progress into employment or progress on to a part time apprenticeship course.
