Course Description
This programme is designed to meet the needs of supervisors and first line managers wishing to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to develop a management career. The course enables learners to develop their skills and knowledge by relating management theory to working practice. A modular based course comprising of five units. Personal development as a first line manager, Resource planning, Meeting stakeholder needs, Managing and Communicating information and Maintaining quality standards.

Entry Requirements
The course is a progression from the Certificate in First Line Management. Candidates will need to have passed the Certificate in First Line Management at Level 3 and have suitable work experience.

Assessment Methods
Coursework will be by written assignment, practical work, presentations and reflective personal views.
