What will I study?
You will study: Basic digital camera use for Compact and D-SLR cameras; Learn theory and through practice, camera settings controls, exposure & their application in the medium of photography; How to take more appealing shots utilising better composition and Importing to a PC, basic image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop, back up and printing of images.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by your tutor on your work on an ongoing basis. There will be no examinations, just continual support and guidance. You will need to produce a portfolio of your work which will be externally assessed and when satisfactory will be accredited with an OCN qualification.
Career Opportunities & Progression
On successful completion of this course you could progress to the Photoshop year 1 course.
