Course Description
This level 2 qualification is a basic vocational qualification which focuses on the development of the underlying principles and practical skills required in the complementary therapies sector, and to allow learners to learn, develop and practice the skills required for progression onto a professional complementary therapies qualification.
It includes:
Introduction to principles and practice for complementary therapies
Health, safety and hygiene
Introduction to clinic service and business awareness for complementary therapies
Anatomy and physiology for complementary therapies
Basic reflexology techniques


How is the Qualification Achieved ?
Candidiates will be required to complete the following assessments:
Practical observations assessed at the college by the tutor
Online multiple choice knowledge test
Assignments covering practical and knowledge related tasks
Case studies

On Successful Completion of this Course
Learners will be able to practice as a level 2 therapist in the sector
Learners will be able to make an informed assessment of their ability to work in the sector, and suitable progression and career routes
